ALLT-YR-YN LIDO
My wife Jenny (nee Beswick) can remember when there used to be a lido at Allt-Yr-Yn House in the 1950s. Does anyone have any photos of the lido or the old Allt-Yr-Yn House in the 1950s, or know when the house was built and who lived there? There is a nature reserve there now and no sign of the house.

I do have a video clip of about 8 seconds with the lido in use, I recently transfered it from old cinefilm which was captured by my father in the late 1950s or early 1960s. I can remember the old disused pool as a child and the wrecked house. Only last week I went back to take photos of the old pool and was surprised to see that it's now a nature reserve and nothing like how I remember it! Hard to believe how nature has claimed it back.
