My granddad lived on Leigh Grove practically facing a shop that had disused stables attached to the side of it. During the early Sixties a family by the name of Dempsey bought the shop and their son, Terry let a few of us play around in the upper floors and build dens. Maybe the Harper's shop was the same shop where I and my friends had so much fun all those years ago?
