Just A Young Girl
We used to live in Hempstead Street. My granfather was the local milkman. I often rode on the back of his horse and cart, does anybody remember this, or have photos of 20 or 22 Hempstead Street? I would love to have just one.

Sorry - no photos but my greatgrandfather lived at no 15. His name was William Rideout - does anyone remember him?

My Great Grandfather Richard Head was living at 72 Hempsted Street with ancestors of mine, John Joshua Mills and his wife Nellie Mills nee Stace. Great Grandad in November 1913 married from number 72 Hempsted Street my Great Grandmother Nellie Eliza Wyatt. It would be lovely if anyone knew any of my family and also if anyone has any photo's of Hempsted Street.
