Zena

The Old Village 1899
Enlarge photo |  More about this photo

I remember these cottages. A girl my own age lived in one of them. Her name was, "Zena."
They were, very sadly, demolished, some years ago.
Cadoxton school is just across the road from where these lovely little cottages were situated.

RE: RE: Zena

I'm almost sure these cottages still stand and are in old Barry village and not at Cadoxton.

RE: RE: Zena

I think you're right, Linda. I think they are on Old Village Road, off
St Nicholas Road.

RE: RE: Zena

No, the cottages I am talking about were to the right of the top end of Church Road (from The Old Village Church and up Church Road) and to the right. The old Health Clinic was exactly opposite them. Yes, the cottages down in the old Village are still there. The cottages Zena lived in were demolished years ago.
