John And Joan Morris

Hi I'm one of those family tree nuts, and I'm trying to find a photo of 41 Church Cottage and 77 Bedwas Church (maybe Church Cottage again). My great great great grandparents Joan and John Morris (he was a carpenter) are listed in the 1851 and 1861 census as living in these places. I'm having trouble find John and Joan's ...Read full memory

I remember my nan sending me to Snook's shop for a couple slices of ham and putting it on the book to pay Friday. Bridge Cottage

Hi, Does anyone have any photos or memories of the Bridge House/Cottage in Bedwas that was an Indian restaurant for some time. We now own it and want to try and bring it back to the very early years. Many thanks if you do.

Thomas John Jones

Hi Does anyone remember a Thomas John Jones? His father was called William and lived at 7 Greenfield Cottages, Church Street, Bedwas. I only know that they lived at this address in 1935. Thomas would have been in his twenties. They were both coal hewers. Any info would be greatly received as Thomas was my grandad but I have no history of him and am researching my family tree. Thank you
