CAN ANYONE HELP
After coming out of hospital in the early 1960s when I was 10, I stayed at a Catholic boarding school in Bideford which had a church attached. Over the years I have attempted to find out exactly where the school was, but to no avail. I would be more than happy if anyone out there could help?

RE: RE: CAN ANYONE HELP
Hello, I think your school was probably Stella Maris Convent, my mother and aunts went in the forties and early fifties. It closed down about 10 years ago apparently. One of my aunts used to look after the boarders. Hope this is helpful.

I'd add that the school was the Stella Maris Convent. My late mother taught there in the 1970s-80s and I believe the school has now closed and the site is now a housing estate.
