This was where my 'farewell' party was held before I emigrated to Canada. Many old schoolfriends, co-workers and family came to wish me luck!! and I'm still here in Canada 42 years later!!

I have fond memories of The Half Way House! My husband & family lived in Prenton for a number of years before we moved to Oxton. We now live in Canada having emigrated here in 1984. Seeing this photo brings back memories to us all.
