More about this scene

A bygone era of rail travel is perpetuated in the name of this road, photographed some five years before the village station closed. But thanks to the dedication of railway enthusiasts, the former trackbed has been re-laid through Bishops Cleeve, and passenger services are now operated by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway south to Cheltenham Racecourse.
