A Memory of Blockley

I remember the Railway Inn, waiting for Mum & Dad with a bottle of coke and a bag of Smiths crisps outside.

A memory shared by Val Harvey , on Jan 21st, 2012.

My parents Edgar & Gladys Lee were licencees at the Railway Inn Blockley 1963-67. I slept in the converted loft accessed via a secret door in the front bedroom

Tips & Ideas

Not sure what to write? It's easy - just think of an important place in your life and ask yourself:

  • How does it feature in your personal history?
  • What are your best memories of this place?
  • How has it changed over the years?
  • How does it feel, seeing these places again?
  • Do you remember stories about the community, its history & people?
