I am trying to find the building which was Dalby's Hotel. In the 1881 census Thomas Ramshaw Dalby and his wife Susannah were the proprietors of this hotel. The address in 1881 was Main Street, south side, Boston Spa. Does anyone have any knowledge of the Dalby's hotel - is the building still there but under another name ...Read full memory
Hi Thomas Ramshaw Dalby was my great great grandfather. I have an image of Dalby's Hotel, which was later the Royalty, and is now a corner shop supermarket on the High Street. There are memorials in Boston Spa churchyard to Thomas and his decendants.
