Happy Memories of my Grandparents
My first memory of Chellow Dene reservoir dates back to the mid-sixties. My grandparents Jack and Betty Parkinson lived at Chellow Grange Lodge, just down the road from the reservoir, and when I visited them - my parents and I lived about 20 minutes walk away - they would often take me there. A few weeks ago I visited the area for the first time in 30 years and was pleased to find it almost unchanged, although the fountain has now disappeared!

RE: RE: Happy Memories of my Grandparents
Hi Julia
I have been researching my grandparents who worked for the owners of Chellow Grange (as Domestic staff) and lived in Chellow Grange Lodge back in the early 1900. The family name was Kidd. I have found pictures of the Grange but not of the Lodge and wondered if you could help. Also if you knew who owned the Grange. Anything would be most appreciated!!
Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours sincerely,
Jacqui Bowers
