RE: RE: The Big Meeting
My mother was born in Brancepeth in 1914 when this photograph was taken. My cousin and I are going there this month to trace our family. Their anme was Lofus and their parents were Martin and Mary and the children's names were Janet (Jenny), Sabina (Bina), Stevphen (Steve) Winifred (Winnie - my mother), Margaret (Peg), Mildred (Liddy) and John (Twins) and Thomas (Tom).
My grandfather worked in the grounds of the Castle - I think as a gardener?
Has anyone ever heard of the family. They moved to Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders around 1926 so most of them would have gone to the local school in Brandon perhaps?
