A Short Stay In Broadstairs

A Memory of Broadstairs.

I stayed in a convalescent home in the early 1950's as it was believed I had had whooping cough and was there for the fresh air. I only have fleeting memories but do recall a large dormitory with high beds and falling out! We had to drink hot milk each evening and to this day I can't stand the smell! Yuk! We walked to the beach frequently and I loved seeing the horse on the way. It was close to xmas and I remember a large xmas tree. I wanted to go to school there but was too young.
Think this is about all I can remember as I was only about three or four.
I would luv to hear from anyone who has similar memories and wish I knew which one it was.
