Bubwith Memory
My parents, Maurice and Jessie Carroll, ran the White Swan pub at Bubwith from about 1962 to about 1966. There used to be a stable block to the right of the picture which they had demolished and an extension to the pub (just visible in the photo) was built.

RE: RE: Bubwith Memory
I have been researching my family tree and have found out that one of my great grandfather's brothers, John Ibbetson, was innkeeper at the White Swan Inn at Bubwith. This is referenced on the 1881 Census, and he lived there with his wife Mary Ann, his mother Ann (widow of Tom Ibbetson, Farmer) and children: Betsy, Eva, Harry, Mary Eliz, Minnie and Riley. Unfortunately, this is the only information I have and would be greatful if anyone has any stories from this time.
