More about this scene

Bunbury is a name familiar to those of us who enjoy Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest', but few people realise that such a village actually exists. Fortunately for Bunbury's continued tranquillity, the main road totally bypasses it, so that it can be vry pleasant to sit on the bench here on a sunny day. The hedge behind has now grown so that it is the same height as the signpost, making the garden much more secluded!

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

My aunty Jenny and uncle Albert Stockton used to live at the house in the triangle which used to be the old jailhouse. My dad, Ivor, used to take me and my brother John there and he used to cut our hair in the old shed.
