The road rises gently before swinging to the left into the station yard. The pleasant sunshine seems to have forced the owner of the shop on the right to lower the blinds. However, the absence of any signboard would suggest that it was unoccupied. George Mason next door is 'open all hours' for business, and the bicycle stands ready to make its next delivery.
