Way Back in 1901
My great aunt Kathleen Elizabeth Bellis, attended Rosary Priory (Caldecote Towers) way back in 1901. I don't suppose anyone else knows someone there at that time, or indeed has any photos? I would love to know.

RE: RE: Way Back in 1901
You are asking a lot for first hand memories before the First World War! However I do have personal knowledge of Rosary Priory as I worked there for many years when the part of the property which included the tower became a school.
Initially it was known as a Catholic school for girls and I am still in touch with one "girl" (who would now be about 60!). Later it became a Jewish school and was renamed Immanuel College. Unusually it was mixed, and I worked with older boys and girls as a careers adviser for many years in the 1990's.
I recall going up the winding staircase in the tower and having meetings with the head mistress.
It was - and is - a beautiful building and the views across the countryside are stunning.

I was there with Kathleen but my memory's not too good any more as I'm 132 years old next week.
