St. Mary's Church on 25th July 1970, Graham and I got married, all of our friends married around that time in the lovely old church. St. Mary's, is still one of the most beautiful churches in the Surrey area.

RE: RE: St. Mary's Church

The Curtin family lived in the house next to the church, the son was John Curtin and the family business was the greengrocers (near the Plough pub I think?). My dad Benjamin Neville was a Choir Boy at St Marys (1927-?) and both my grandparents are buried in the churchyard, with Parry Thomas next to them (PT died in Barb at Brooklands). My Dad and Eric Griffin were mates from age 3 (1923) ALL their lives! Eric's father Major Griffin built lots of homes in Byfleet inc. Winern Glebe. My brother Carl Neville (aka SPIKE) was married to Maureen Littmoden in this church the early 1980s (they grew up opposite each other in Winern Glebe, Byfleet, of Rectory Lane and Opp. Hart Road) and STILL live in Byfleet, diagonally opposite the Plough pub for 20+ years to NOW.
