Many Friends

We moved to Cadgwith in 1979, the best move of our lives, everyone was so friendly. Our two boys grew up there and had the time of their lives fishing and playing on the beach. We were sad to leave in 1987 but will never forget Cadgwith. Steve and Shiela Thornton.

RE: RE: Many Friends

I have just read your comment and remember your son, he lived with my mum and dad at Cherry Tree Garage, he was good friends with my brother Andrew. If I remember, he was into computers and very successful and a really nice bloke. I am on the computer trying to find a picture my dad told me about of Kennack beach in the war when it was covered in scaffolding to stop the Germans trying to land. He passed away last year after 5 and half years with cancer. I miss him very much.
