My father, Mr.J.A.Green, supplied milk to Claverdon and the surrounding villages for many years. We used to buy our petrol at the pump by the forge. It was owned by Mr. Robin Loman.

You do not say what years your father was milkman, I am sure ours was a Mr Green during the period 1955-67 when we lived at Whitegates, Yarningale Common. Also the Highes family were the local coal merchants at the bottom of the Stratford road hill next to the station.
