Park School

Hi, my mum was there from 1963-64 and Me and Mrs Neale were the heads and her form tutor was Nrs Warne, there was also a girl in her class called Sherry Kirwin who you may remember and there was Gill Henretty, Carol Wood, Paul Hipkin, Sandy Weir. Like you she has been unable to find anything about the school. Her name was Katherine Wren. We would love to hear from you if you have any further info. Thanks

Hi I was there from 1961-64 when it closed. The Amounderness Way went through its grounds which was I think the reason for its closure. I remember Mrs Neale the owner. Mrs Marsh was headmistress. Mrs Wearne was my form teacher. I remember Carol Wood, Kathleen Gardener was in my class. I am in touch with two other girls Susan Lomax and Valerie Mason as they were then, they have remained close friends. Glynnis Stevenson was in the same class. I remember Gill Hanratty she started the same day as me.
I still have my school reports and the book we wrote our cookery recipes in. Mrs Eatough was the domestic science teacher. Mrs Monk taught the kindergarten. The dog was called Toby.
