9 Forland Avenue Collyhurst Looking For My Mums Family
A Memory of Collyhurst.
My mum Jessie hawksworth nee macullum lived here 9 forland ave with my dad Alan Atkinson from late 50,s till 1963. We were taken into care my older sister pat myself and 2 brothers I was 18 months old. We never saw mum again she sadly died 27th December 1969. We have no photos or info of her life as all contact was kept away from us growing up in care the social services decided to keep it that way. I know she had 4 previous children john Roy Edward and Elaine hawksworth they be in late 70,s now. Mum worked at the swan pub and had a sister called alma, they both worked at cotton mills, there parents were Edward macullum and Agnes macullum nee maudsley. Mum was born 12/2/1922 on Abel street been demolished now other than that I have no details. Any info would be amazing many thanks. Sharon.
