St James

A Memory of Collyhurst.

Hi everyone, I too lived in Collyhurst, and also went to St James School, I think the year was 1952. I lived in Zinc Street if I remember correctly, the Locomotive pub was on the corner of the street. My grandparents lived in Shelmeredine Streett facing Osborne Baths, Gran Sharp worked as a cleaner at the Osborne pub. My younger brother and sister went to a nursery near the sand park, I can't recollect the name. It was lovely reading all your memories.
