Highcliffe Then in Hants

In 1960 or possibly 1961 I went to Highcliffe with my pal for a holiday. We rode there on our motorcycles from High Wycombe in Bucks.

We had a chalet on the beach with my parents but lied it was ours alone. It seemed more cool at the time. During the week we were lucky enough to meet two lovely girls, about our age, 16 or 17. One had dark hair and the other had long and naturally blonde hair. Their names, to my shame now elude me. They told us they came from Colne in Lancashire. Our accents were different and this added to the intrigue of a holiday romance. We spent some time together but sadly our week soon ended, and I recall they came to the Sea Road car park to wave us off. It was a Saturday, about midday. I can still see them now. Funny how time freezes the image of them as they were then. Quite sad really. Anyway, if you recognise yourself or someone else recognises you, please consider getting in touch. It would be nice to talk about that time again.
One further piece of information I remember is you were staying at the Naish Farm Caravan Park.
My name is Peter, my mobile is 07796155600 or landline 01494 562557. Or you can respond through this site. My pal's name is Rod and we are still friends. I really hope this reaches you.
