Old Pub of Croydon.
Southbridge Road, South Croydon. I am looking for the name of a building that was at 94 Southbridge Road in Croydon. I am presuming it was a pub... we have a photo of it - looks like a pub but is it?

RE: RE: Old Pub of Croydon.
I also lived in South Croydon, 2 Victoria Place, from 1945 until 1962. The street was demolished to make way for the overpass to Duppas Hill. I remember the building you mentioned, it was an off licence run by the Potters, then after that by a lady called Duff. I do hopes this helps.

I know the building you refer to. My family lived a few doors along, from 1961 until 1999. In the 60's it was an off-licence called "The Satellite", run by Mr and Mrs Duck. In recent years it has been occupied by a computer company.
