Dorothea Phillips , daughter of the Revd W D Phillips, Vicar of Cwmtillery during the late 1940'sand 1950's. She has appeared in many Films and TV Productions. There is quite a lot of information about her on the web if you care to google her name. I believe Dorothea to be about 87 years of age now,

I a writing a my third novel about Cwmtillery in 1850's onward. I would be grateful of any help with its history. I know of the mining disasters in 1857 and 1876, but any other bits of local history would be helpful.
