Apprenticeship Days
I remember going out on the jetty and skiving off when I should have been working in the engine plant, mind you, apprentices don't do much anyway, wandering around the foundry and Frog Island.

RE: RE: Apprenticeship Days
What lovely memories you folks have! Does anyone remember the Fanshawe Tavern in Dagenham? I have heard that it has since been demolished. My great-uncle used to work there before the Second World War. I would like to know any details about as I am researching my family history. His name was Jack Nicholls. But sadly died right after the Second World War. All the best and nice to hear your wonderful memories! Cheers! Lori
