Geo Ort's Bakers

My dad owned the above. I spent 22 years in Perivale and went through school there. I finally left in 1977.
I have fond memories of Perivale and my dad's shop was very popular, it was on Bilton Road. We lived in Devon Close. Johnny Kidd was one of our customers and neighbours.
Does anyone remember us?

RE: RE: Geo Ort's Bakers

I went to Perivale secondary girls school in the mid 1960s so you must have lived there when we lived in Perivale. My father was the caretaker of the school, Mr Rooke, and we lived in Sarsfield Avenue. We always used to hang around by the shops and I can clearly remember my mother always saying her divvy number at the check out in the Co-op which was the last shop on the parade facing Horsden Hill end.

I remember George Ort's. I also remember a big speed boat on a trailer outside Jinny Kid's house. Was Suzan Hopper also one of your neighbours?
