Does anyone remember Marshes pie and confectionary shop, corner of Old Whint Road, opposite no 1 Labour Club? They were the best pies ever made at the back of the shop.

RE: RE: Marshes Pies

I am trying to obtain a copy of the book 'Black Gold and Hot Sand' by Mike Fletcher, unfortunately it is now out of print - it is a history of St Helens industry. If anyone has a spare copy please email yvonne.hand@museums-sheffield.org.uk. Many thanks.
