I was at Clare, from 1958 - 60. Dampier House I think (actually I think it was Eliot House)....I don't know if anyone remembers me? It was an interesting couple of years, roaming free in the Somerset countryside - a little bit like "Lord of the Flies" perhaps?! I was at Clare School in the latter part of the fifties and recently visited East Coker and was unable to find the school. Mr H T Bowden started the school. What has happened to the old building?
