St Margaret's Convent, St Agnes School 1909

I had to leave this school due to my father's death and missed it terribly. ALL my closest friends were now too far away to see. Because it was a boarding school, it was like being taken away from my family. My most enjoyable young years were had here.

RE: RE: Sally Busby(nee Bench)

I wonder whether you have any knowledge of what the girls who lived here in 1900-1911 (looked after by the nuns) were encouraged to do when they left - especially as they were mostly orphans - I am tracing my ancestry and I believe that my grandmother and 2 sisters lived here for the most part of their lives but I have no idea what life would have been like etc.
