More about this scene

This church was built on a steep hillside between 1859 and 1861, but the tower and spire were added between 1884 and 1886. The architect was the popular John Norton of Bristol. The building was expensive, and the final cost of the church was thought to be nearly £60,000. The first service took place here in December 1861 - and yet the consecration of the church by the Bishop of Llandaff was not until August 1869.

Any info would be gratefully accepted .
My Gran owned a corner shop 1960-1970's in Ebbw Vale. I believe is it now a power station for National Grid. I would love more information about this shop.
