Finchampstead Post Office

By the time I lived in Finchampstead in 1975 this was a private house but otherwise the street looked much the same.  The Adnams family owned the garage a little further down this street on the left, opposite the playing fields.

John. Hill.

Hi, my name is Brenda, I used to work quite a few years ago with a vey nice person. His name was John Hill. He lived for a long time in Arborfield, and probably still does. John Hill (the Butcher), Macfisheries.

Hi, My name is Brenda.Glover (nee Malone). I used to work with someone that lived all his life in Arborfield, he worked as a butcher for many years. He was such a lovely person to work with.
