Worcestershire memories
My Mother's Memories
My mother who is 93 this year and very much alive and kicking is descended from the Cropthorne Dingleys. She spent much of her early childhood and teenage years before ww2 with her family in Cropthorne. She has such vivid memories of the area and even remembers many names of the local people. If anyone knows how her anecdotal history might somehow be archived, please do let me know.
Morris Family Millers
My ancestors were millers in this area and one of my gt gt uncles was living at Cropthorne Mill on the 1881 census, his father, my gt gt grandfather, was at Northway Mill in Ashchurch. It's lovely to see what these places were like.

Happy Memories of Little Comberton
My grandmother lived in Little Comberton, I used to visit her when we lived in Clevedon. When I was 11 in 1967 I spent 6 months with my Ggrandmother before my parents, my brother and myself emigrated to Australia. Even though I was away from my mum and dad I had some happy memories of my time there, I loved the country and all that went with it. I was horse crazy and used to save all my money to go riding at a local horse riding school that from my memory was not far from the old Post Office. I have a photo of me on my favourite horse, Polo was his name, and I still have one of his shoes that was given to me for a keepsake. I went to school for those six months in Pershore. Workman Family
My grandmother was born in Bishampton 1891, Maggie Elizabeth Workman, daughter to Honeybourn and Emma Spires. Her aunt Sarah Spires donated a large sum of money to the church, there is a plaque to say.
Honeybourn's father was George Workman, he married Margaret Standley. Does anyone have information? I would appreciate any information, photos etc.
