RE: RE: Pinnington & Son

The butchers was still there in the early 1990's, along with the post office. Also, a newsagent, hairdressers and off-licence. The post office was at the back of a very old fashioned shop, where two old ladies sold a real mixture of odds and ends. All the shops were pulled down, and two were rebuilt in the early 2000's. The newsagent and health food shop are all that survive.
