The Day Family

Does anyone remember the Day family who lived opposite the Bell pub overlooking the River Medway? The late Fred Day, my uncle, was the skipper of the 'Arethusa' training ship. Yours truly, Clive Jeffrey, Mission City, Canada.

RE: RE: The Day Family

I live in the house you are talking about, 5 Church Green. I did not know Fred Day but my older brother was friends with Fred's grandson Duncan who lived round the corner in Murray Road.

Hello, I used to live in Hoo from 1967-1971. When I was pregnant my midwife was called Nurse Day, I think her first name was Susan? I think she lived somewhere near Bell Lane? She worked at the small doctor's surgery in the village. But I didn't know the rest of the Day family. Regards, Linda
