Gribdale Terrace
My memories of Ayton are through Gribdale, I had many relations who lived there, like the Bailey family. If anyone can give me information on any of them, it would be welcome. Thank you.
Regards,
Albert.

RE: RE: Gribdale Terrace
I was born in Great Ayton but have few memories of Gribdale Terrace even though and grandfather and father (as a young boy)lived there. I can give you some information on the Bailey family if that is of interest to you.

Hi John, yes I would be pleased to receive any info you have. I can't think who your father was. I lived there from 1934 to 1956 when I left to get married.

My father was George William Bailey and his father was Thomas (also known as Timothy) Bailey. Which of the Baileys was your father? Do you have an e mail address that I can use to contact you with what I have of the Bailey family tree?

RE: RE: Gribdale Terrace
I'm afraid your branch of the Baileys doesn't register with me. My mother was the Bailey not my father, she was Alice Bailey, daughter of Nathaniel Bailey and Mary Alice Bailey, nee Scales. I was christened as a Bailey and took Bradshaw later on from my step dad.
Is Thomas William Bailey the brother of Nathaniel Bailey my grandad, because I'm in touch with a Geoffrey Bailey whose grandfather is Thomas William Bailey, Nat's brother.
(Hope I haven't got you lost)
My E-Mail is: walkways@aol.com
Best wishes
Albert.
