Parndon Hall School
I attended school at Parndon Hall, then referred to as Kinsmoor School, in 1956 when I was 13. I have a photo that I took of it at that time. We were only there for a few terms before the students were moved to Fedsden School in Roydon. I remember Mrs. Clare was the headmistress and the school sponsored students from France. I remember finding old stone arrow heads on the property. If anyone would like a copy of the photograph I took of the house I would be happy to email it at no charge.

RE: RE: Parndon Hall School
I also went to the school. Just now I can't remember dates but I do remember Mrs Clare. I was there with my twin Belinda. We have a few photographs. Are there any reunions?

RE: RE: Parndon Hall School
I did not go to school at Parndon Hall but I did live at Parndon Hall stables around 1960, my mother Peggy Golding ( formaly Law) leased the stable block/ residence/ land that the hospital is now on from Mrs Clare and I remember the Clare family quite well. I also had worked at the stables as a stable boy for a Miss Stuart (before I lived there). I also can remember this period quite well, this was when no destruction/ construction of the area had taken place and it was a nice at that time. I lived at Rosemount, Kingsmoor Road (now a housing estate), the whole area at that time was a sleepy corner of Essex, green leafy lanes in summer, almost total peace and quiet good people... sigh! I'm not too sure about progress! Anyway, I got married at Great Parndon in 1965 and left for Canada in 1967, spent 37 years in Alberta and am now retired on Vancouver Island, British Columbia also a nice place.
