Contrary to other "memories" this was (and is) the boys' Grammar school in Guildford. I was there between 1974 and 1981 - least said soonest mended! The new school building on the opposite side of the High Street was added in the 1960s.

Okay, excuse me, I made a mistake.  It has been many years since my last visit. I came on this site very shortly before Mom died in 2005. I wish dearly she could have been with me when I found this site. I do know how she was so hurt that I couldn't manage to return here on my visit in 2000. I realize now I should have thought to and done more research to have made a trip to Guildford. Alas, I did not. I will always regret that.
