Trying to Find

This is not a memory. I am doing my family tree, My grandfather Albert Llwellyn Darke, lived in Gwersyllt late 20's early 30's . He worked at Russian Oil Products we believe in Gwersyllt. He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident Boxing Day 1932 on the Whitchurch- Wrexham road. All we know is that he lived with his wife and son My father who was 3 weeks old when his father was killed. We think he lived at Beehive House, Hope Street Gwersyllt. Does this house still exist? Has anyone got a photograph? Has anyone got any inforomation on the RussianOil company? I have tried looking for details of this comapny on the net but with no success. If you can help me I would be very gratefull. Many thanks

RE: RE: Trying to Find

Hi, you were tryng to find the Russian Oil Products, this was also known as Dussek Brothers oil works, which used to be situated at the junction of Bradley Road and Watery Road, Wrexham. The site is now closed. Dussek Bros used to have a depot in Wrexham, and also Croydon I think. Beehive House, Hope Street, Gwersyllt is still there as far as I am aware. For a better response i would suggest going to clwyd@rootsweb.com and posting a note there, hope this helps.
