My great grandfather Henry Braun owned the Vale of Health Hotel (shown in the right of this photo) overlooking the lake, from 1877 until the early 1900's. I was born in Lymington Rd, West Hampstead. My dad was employed by the council. I later worked for Fotoco, Finchley Rd and R.Fox, Hampstead, went on to be a chauffeur, a bus driver, and an ambulance driver.
