Pardon Hall

Princess Alexandria Hospital c1965
Enlarge photo |  More about this photo

Parndon Hall WAS NOT demolished - the Victorian house still lies at the centre of the hospital site and is currently used to house the Past Graduate Medical Centre and Trust offices. Paintings done by Elizabeth Arkwright in the late 19th Century still adorn the doors walls and ceilings of the house. Sadly Parndon Hall is not accessible by the public.

RE: RE: Pardon Hall

My sister and I are writing our father's biography and we would be interested to hear from anyone who remembers him. His name was Dennis Winn (also known as Jock). We lived in Fullers Mead, Potter Street and our mum's name is Doreen. Dad ran a local judo club. We believe he also appeared as a stunt rider in a film made by "Buster Sid and the Potter Street Cowboys"! If anybody remembers him, or the film or has any information we would be extremely grateful.

Regards
Andrea
