Southlands School, Harrow On The Hill
While sorting through some old photographs from the 1950s when I was in England and Europe with two girlfriends from Western Australia, some of the Southlands school were among them. Memories
I was at Hillside in JAN 67 - my daughter was born at the end of Feb - I remember sharing a room with two Carol’s - would love to know where they are now.

Southlands 1960's
I went to Southlands as a day girl and have many happy memories of walking around the gardens during break chatting to friends Di, Dinks, Anita and Helen were members of my class. Miss Panter was Headmistress, Miss bowen our maths mistress. I think back on that time as a good time of my life.i used to go riding on a Wednesday afternoon, old Captain Younghusband used to fetch us from school . Paddy Presant was my name.

Southlands School, Harrow On The Hill
I attended this school as a weekly border in about 1960-61. At the time Helen Shapiro's first record was number one in the hit parade and Lilian Bailey was out head girl. The school was in a rambling old house and in the evening we spent a lot of time on the common room floor playing 'jacks' on the shiny Lino, an ideal surface for scooping up the little jacks before catching the small ...see more

Southlands School,South Hill Ave, Harrow On The Hill.
I went to Southlands school harrow on the hill from 1958-1968 when it closed down. It was a victorian building and catered for day girls and borders. Having My Daughter
I remember getting pregnant in early 1966 I was living and working in London I had a one night stand with a famous person out of a famous band he went back to America and said he would send for me but never did. I ended up in this mother and baby home had my daughter in December 1966 I remember having to stay there fir Christmas and new year I called her Pamela after Wayne Fontana song. I Was Adopted From Hillside
I have no memories of Hillside as I was the baby, but would love to talk to any mothers who were there in 1962 - to 1963, or see any pictures!

Ingleby Court ,Harrow On The Hill.
This half burnt out mansion and wonderful Japanese garden holds very special memories for me.Although it had notices saying it was private and to keep out,not to mention trespassers would be prosecuted,I couldn't keep away and would go there every chance I got.Despite the obvious dangers,I would make my way up to the roof and sit up there for hours listening to my tranny.It never really ...see more
