The Frith archivist and our technical team are working constantly to add even more nostalgic material about the United Kingdom on francisfrith.com. To date 120,000 photographs from The Francis Frith Collection have been scanned and uploaded, but the Collection boasts a total of over 360,000, and we upload new material as it is scanned. Visitors are adding nostalgic memories daily, and we add local historic maps and books on an ongoing basis. Our Updates email will notify you if any "new" material has been added - photographs, maps, memories and books - for your favourite UK places.
How to set up an Updates email
To receive an Updates email, simply search for a place using the
Find a Town or Village Box you see in the blue header at the top of
the website, or by visiting our
Explore Your Past
pages. Then, as you are looking at the homepage for that place, click
on the Updates for link, highlighted by a
green email symbol 
- Simple!
In summary
We promise not to bombard you, just to let you know when material is added for your favourite places. You can unsubscribe from these updates at any time by visiting the My Account section of the Frith website. Signing up for a Updates email is the best way of keeping abreast of what is available. You'll be the first to know when new material is added, and enjoy your time with us even more!
