Jeux Sans Frontiers
Does anyone remember Jeux Sans Frontiers being organised by Helston Rotary (I think) and held in and on Coronation Lake.
I attended Helston Grammar School during the 60s and lived with my parents Prisk and Phyllis Dale at The Gables Filling Station Trevenen.

RE: RE: Jeux Sans Frontiers
I can remember watching the Helston Jeux Sans Frontiers on television but didn't go to the actual event.
I do remember The Gables filling station at Trevenen very well though, I used to buy ice creams there when I was little ! I don't remember you Wendy but can remember two children called Kim and Michael White who lived in the house at the side of the petrol station and Mr & Mrs Martin with their children Vanessa and Paul who lived at the farm opposite.
I lived at Little Goldings, Trevenen Bal from 1963 - 1978 with my parents Anne and Philip Howells and brother Guy. My father was the art teacher at Helston Grammar School. He is still alive and living in Falmouth and will be 88 in January 2010 !
