I stayed in the Florence Gibson Ward in 1965, I remember a teacher called Mr Wrapps who I think was Welsh and had a big moustache.A boy in the bed next to mine was Tommy Butterworth. There was an Ann Lyons in the girls ward who we all adored. The was a boy called Elgin who was in a wheel chair who I guess was a more permanant resident than most of the other boys.We had a great view over the river, I am sure there was an old plane in the foreground.Although I only stayed for a number of months I often remember the faces and wounder what happened to the people I met there.
