Dairy In Mill End Road

A Memory of High Wycombe.

I am writing this on behalf of my husband Tim Langridge (he doesn't do computers) He moved to High Wycombe in 1945 his father had a Dairy in Mill End Road. He went to Lyndhurst Kindergarten School until he was 7 then went to St Davids College opposite the Station until he was 11 then went to Mill Road School until he was 13 when the family moved ...Does anyone remember the Dairy,we did visit a few years ago and it is now offices for I think heating engineers

I believe the dairy was called Job’s.
Hello, hope this gets to you. My Dads first job was at this dairy, it was called Pastures and Pyatts. My dad worked there bottling and filling the churns for schools.
He remembers the owner Mr Langridge and his brother, he is guessing Tim was his son.
He remembers them taking him and my Mum to the pony racing at Hawthirne Hill in Maidenhead and having a big win.
They had milk delivered from Peoncess Risboror and a Mr Wilkinson. My Great Grandad also had a dairy down the road In Abercrombie Avenue in the 20's.
