RE: RE: THE Bell Inn High Street

Unless there was a Bell Inn AND a Bell Hotel, this photo ID is not correct. The Plough Inn is to the left just inside Mill Road. The Bell Hotel was No.76 (or maybe 74) High Street, later called The Patterson Hotel/pub/Inn and it seems, it is being done up under the name of The Cromwell. We're all getting older and this information will be lost, and I loved Lakenheath.
Am hoping there may be someone out there who remembers Mr Rutterford and his sweet shop, opposite the War Memoria, back in the 1950's.
