North Court

A Memory of Lakenheath.

In 1958 my family(mom, dad, and me) were transferred to RAF Lakenheath,England. No base housing. So we stayed in a hotel in New Market for three weeks and then moved into North Court guest house which was inhabited by fellow Americans waiting for housing.
It was a grand old house with grounds covered with trees, ferns, pyracantha and all else English country side. The groundskeeper once took us in the mausoleum which housed the tombs of the original owners and their dogs!
Contemplating a visit to England I am looking up places of memory. As I recall,North Court was part of Lord Iver's estate. Cannot find it anywhere via the internet. Only found a mention of Lord Iver's estate in an advert for a rental house in Icklingham.
Anybody remember NORTH COURT?
(Saw a mention of Tilly's in Mildenhall from a person living in Ft. Worth,TX. I also live in Ft. Worth,TX)
