Fisher Family

A Memory of Bristol.

My grandfather was born in Bristol in 1900, he was Henry Fisher, born 11 Walpole Street, Bristol. His father was Henry Fisher who was a master hairdresser, his mother Lavinia had a brother Reginald and two sisters Mable and Beatie. I do not know much about my grandfather's life in Bristol but I do know that he married my grandmother Hilda in Hampshire. I am not sure when he left Bristol for Hampshire but he brought his wife and three young children of which the eldest was my father Henry and George and Dorothy and had two children Ronald and Olive. I do have a few addresses for the family, in 1891 my great-grandfather's address was 38 Lower Ashley Road, Bristol, in 1901 my grandfather was born then the address was 2 Armada Place, Bristol. In 1911 my grandfather's address was 154 Cheltenham Road, Bristol. My father was born in 1922 I think my father he was around 7 years old his brother George was around 6 years old and a sister Dorothy was around 2 years old the two children he had while living back in Bristol were Ronald born 1930 and Olive born 1934. I think they all had their childhood in Bristol. I would love to know more of their life in Bristol, schools they may had gone to etc, are any of the streets and houses still there? I would come to Bristol to have a look where they had lived. My grandfather was back in Hampshire in 1943 as he had a son Robert in Hampshire and that is where he was until his death and where I used to visit him with my father as a child. My great-grandfather had brothers and sisters that were brought up and stayed in Bristol which were Reginold born 1897, Ronald born 1905, Mable born 1891, Beatrice born 1899, Doris born 1907 there and my great-grandfather's father and mother were Henry Fisher and mother Lavinia Fisher. Does anyone know this side of my family? And are there any of my Fisher family out there that can match any of my family to yours? If so, I would love to hear from you and to know more about where my grandfather was brought up and where my father spent some of his childhood.
